Welcome to Deskera Singapore Pte. Ltd. (“ Deskera ”)’s privacy policy. Deskera respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data. This privacy policy will inform you as to how we look after your personal data when you visit our website (regardless of where you visit it from) and tell you about your privacy rights and how the law protects you.

Clause 1 - Introduction

This privacy policy aims to give you information on how Deskera collects and processes your personal data through your use of this website.

It is important that you read this privacy policy together with any other privacy policy or fair processing policy we may provide on specific occasions when we are collecting or processing personal data about you so that you are fully aware of how and why we are using your data. This privacy policy supplements other notices and privacy policies and is not intended to override them.

Clause 9 - International Transfers Of Personal Data

Your personal data and/or information may be transferred to, stored or processed outside of your country. In most cases, your personal data will be processed in Singapore, where our servers are located and our central database is operated. We will only transfer your information overseas in accordance with applicable laws.

This includes:

obtaining your consent, unless an exception exists under applicable laws or any other laws, and

taking reasonable steps to ascertain whether the foreign recipient of the personal data is bound to comply with standards of protection that are at least comparable to the applicable laws.

Clause 10 - Data Security

We have put in place appropriate security measures to prevent your personal data from being accidentally lost, used or accessed in an unauthorised way, altered or disclosed. In addition, we limit access to your personal data to those employees, agents, contractors and other third parties who have a business need to know. They will only process your personal data on our instructions and they are subject to a duty of confidentiality.

We have put in place procedures to deal with any suspected personal data breach and will notify you and any applicable regulator of a breach where we are legally required to do so.

Clause 11 - Information On Minors

The services/website are not targeted to minors (those under the age of 18) and we do not intend to sell any of our products or services to minors. If a minor has provided us with personal data without parental or guardian consent, the parent or guardian should contact our data protection officer to remove the information.

Clause 12 - Retention Of Data

Clause 13 - Access And Correction Of Personal Data

You may access or correct your name, birthday, shipping and billing addresses by logging in to your user account.

For personal data that cannot be corrected by you by logging in to your user account, you may request to access and correct such personal data by emailing our Data Protection Officer. We may need to request additional information from you to confirm your identity before providing the access or making the correction.

We will do our best to respond to personal data access and correction requests within 30 days. Where we are unable to meet this timeline, we will update you with the soonest possible time within we can provide the information or make the correction. Note that we may charge you a reasonable fee for the handling and processing your Personal Data access request.

Clause 15 - Individual Rights For Users In THe European Economic Arena

If you are located in the European Economic Area, you may seek confirmation regarding whether Deskera is processing your Personal Data, request access to your Personal Data and ask that we correct, amend, delete, or restrict processing of your Personal Data. In addition, you may object to Deskera’s processing of your Personal Data at any time. However, please note that doing so may impact your ability to access and use Deskera’s Platforms and services.

While Deskera makes reasonable efforts to provide our users with access to their Personal Data, there may be circumstances in which we are unable to provide such access, including but not limited to: where the information in question is legally privileged, would compromise the privacy or other legitimate rights of other persons, where the burden or expense of providing access would be disproportionate to the risks to your privacy, where the request is clearly excessive or unfounded, or where the information requested comprises proprietary business information.

Emails and letters should clearly state that you are making a query, request or complaint relating to the privacy policy in the subject line to ensure the matter is dealt with expediently. We will strive to deal with any query, request or complaint promptly and fairly.

As part of our efforts to ensure that we properly manage, protect and process your personal data, we will be reviewing our policies from time to time. We may update this privacy policy to ensure that it is consistent with industry trends and any changes in legal or regulatory requirements. We reserve the right to amend the terms of this privacy policy at our absolute discretion.
